How Much Would It Cost To Change From Auto To Manual Transmission
How much would it cost me to change my transmission from an automatic to a manual if I did all the labor myself? If I had it done at an shop?
I drive a 2007 Camry LE I4.

Haha are you kidding me? You'd be better off trading your car for a 5 speed...or should have bought one in the first place.

It would probably be cheaper to pay off the depreciation on the trade in.....

Yes definitely not worth it. Trade it on a manual car.

Once I was curious and asked about a manual to automatic conversion of a Corolla. I was told that most garage won't even accept it. You have to find one that specializes in custom works and it will easily cost $4,000 - $6,000.
Don't know how true the information is but just relaying it...
