TSB 0068 and a weird question

Guys,
This question was forwarded to me by a friend of mine. He is a senior guy and not tech savvy so I couldn't have him to register with the forum. I don't have enough expertise to comment either so I decided to post it here on behalf of him. Any assistance would be appreciated.

"I've purchased a 09 Camry (I4) in June. Never had much of a problem like hesitation but noticed that on speed between 45 - 55 mph - rpm drops and creates engine shaking.

I took the car to the dealer a few times but they couldn't find anything wrong after test drives. Anyway - after some time they performed ECM calibration and applied TSB 0068.

After that I noticed a lot smoother shift, tight acceleration and engine shake problem is gone as well.

Now I'm feeling something a bit different - even though it's not an issue. While acceleration from a stop to upto 40mph speed - the engine sounds louder and harsher than it was before applying TSB. After 40mph speed - engine sounds just fine and quiet.
I drive very smooth and don't step on gas as well.

Is there something I should look at or it's just my imagination?"

4 Banger is louder than V6. That engine has to drag the heavy Gen 6 body.

Thanks guys - I thought the same as well. 'Cause mine is a 09 Camry as well and it's running sweet after the TSB update

I think when the car was new - he was EXTREMELY gentle on accelerator. Now after the TSB - the car seems more responsive and he is noticing engine revving sound
