5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have used a RAZR and a ROKR and people have complained that it is hard to hear me or that it sounds weird. I feel that I have to shout in order to use it. And when I'm on the highway, forget about it, I can't talk loudly enough. Overall I don't recommend it unless you want the upgraded stereo aspect (which I don't think is that great either).

I've used mine up to 80 MPH w/o a problem but I have a quiet 4 cylinder........

I used my BT with all windows down driving on the highway going 65-70 and no problems. I had to talk a little louder but they heard me fine. I sometimes roll up my window a little more than half way just so I can hear them better.
I've had the same exact complaints with two different brands of phones and two different wireless carriers. Even when I speak toward the microphone people say its not loud enough. I'm not impressed.

I assume you're being sarcastic like normal, but I've had the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder and the 6 is MUCH quieter on the highway. Regardless, it's not my opinion of how I sound, it's the people I call (or receive calls from). My wife actually REFUSES to talk to me over the BT--I have to disconnect it she dislikes it so much.
One other thing I didn't see anyone mention is the "lag" when talking. If someone is talking and I start talking, they get cut off (meaning I can't hear them anymore even though they are talking). And it takes about 1 second to start hearing them after I stop talking. This is very "disorienting" since talking becomes a chore...
