Does anyone know what size of speaker fits below the grilles in the dash? I'm looking to install some speakers up there for use with communications equipment (police/fire radio), but would prefer to know what sort of size speaker I can expect to fit without doing exploratory surgery!

Hmm, based on the shape of the grille I was figuring on something oblong, not round. Now I have to find a matching speaker element. How do the factory speakers mount?

Cool, thanks. My search-fu didn't turn that one up. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can get a full-range speaker that is good enough for comms purposes into a hole that size.
