So tired of waiting for tein coilovers to come out :-(
Here's a thought since the 04-06 solara tein springs work for the i4 would the tein coilover kit for the solara 04-06 v6 work on the 07 v6 camry I'm pretty sure I'm way off on this but I would still like to know.. Thanks

A member here on TN has the TEIN prototypes on his Gen 6. From what I've been told, production/release for the SS coilovers for the Gen 6 should start at the end of this summer. Be patient. I've been waiting a year and a half lol..
then maybe I should opt for k-sport it will come up to 7xx.xx free shipping from ebay with the live.com discount.
Haha but I gotta say ride quality was really nice. Not far from stock. Pretty daymn smooth. I heard people with other brands suffer ride quality. I rode in the car with these guys , we had five guys in the car and it was still smooth as heck.
guess u missed my post hahaha. i went with ksport. Ride quality, i wouldnt say suffered but its stiff cause im on max stiffness . but when i wasnt it was still pretty smooth. i dont remember wat stock felt like since i swapped to TRD like 200 miles i got the car.

here's the pics of a camry gen 6 lowered on TEIN SS prototype coilovers:
Here's a pic taken showing that the prototypes don't come with pillow ball mounts:
Just an old bump for any news. Tein's website continues to say development for the I4 coilovers, I wonder why they wouldn't make or list some for the V6

from what tein has told me so far, they are expecting it to be ready beginning 2009..it will fit both the v6 and i-4. its only list the i-4 right now because my gen6 is a i-4, so just be patient, they will come soon enough.
edit: if were you guys(gen6), keep calling tein and complain haha because they have been lagging. 562-861-9161.
im just not so sure about the lack of pillow ball mounts when i could get the megans for less than the projected price for the teins and have 32 way adjustability and the pillow mounts. is the ride quality really that much better to be worth the price increase and feature decrease?
