Broken interior door handle

My 2002 Camry has a broken interior door handle on the rear passenger door. If I am not mistaken, I need to remove the door panel to replace the door handle. Is that correct? How do I remove the door panel?
Thanks,
Steve

yes you do need to remove the door panel...
its held in by a few screws on the outside of the panel (2 on the bottom of the panel, one under the small storage compartment near the window switch, one behind the small plastic pop out piece behind the door handle, etc), then carefully pry out the bezel for the window switch and disconnect the wiring for it, and once thats removed, just carefully pry the panel off the door, as theres some plastic clips holding it on. be careful as the door lock by the handle isn still wired, and the wire will need to be disconnected.
if youre not gifted in the DIY sense, take it to the dealer.

Thanks,

I've replaced the window regulator on a '95 Camry, and removing the (front) door panel was very intuitive. It won't be a problem for you, knowing you.

Take it to the dealer.

If you can't check the "Newbies please read before posting!" sticky which advises on how to search and has a link to the online manual, you won't be able to fix your car either.
