Gen5 Camry Exterior Complete

My New Carbon Fiber Hood, Eyelids, Spoiler installed. Complete Body Kit, Lambo Kit and New Exhaust. Here are a few pics from the 2008 Sport Compact & Truck Blast Car Show that took place yesterday on 23 Aug 2008. That entire line of cars that I am with is my Car Club East Coast Redline Motorsports. Don't mind the date on the pics. Wife didnt know how to set the correct date.

Here are some pics from today after the show. I placed 1st in the Toyota Wild Class. I beat out 2 supra's, a few celica's and a few Corollas. Engine work starting next weekend.

Hope you like the pics.

Thanks fellas. The show was in Oswego, NY. It was a really good show. They had Drive Up Judging stations, Eating, Tire Throw and of course Bikini contests. They had racing like the Slalom, 0-40-0, Speed Trap and side by side quarter mile races. Don't forget the Sound Blast Competitions and more. It started at 8am and didnt end until 8pm. My team had like close to 30 cars and we took home like 15 trophies and plaqes.

The turbo install with Dyno work will take about 2 weeks. Ballistic Motorsports in New Hampshire is doing the work. They do all the engine work on our teams cars. My team member Johnny won the best show car award and the cash prize with it with his black RX-7. After the turbo and internal work is done I will be pushing 350 to 400whp. A huge step up for a Toyota Camry.

Im doing everything I said I would do and I like my car so if you have a problem with that TURD I mean TRD VVTI then do me a favor and harrass someone else on there page. I don't recall ever going to one of your threads and talkin trash for no reason so since you say you are an adult do like I hope your mom taught you and move on if you have nothing good to say. I know everyone may not like what im doing and that is there opinion but you are just down right disrespectful and that was from the first time you came to one of my threads. I like my car and thats all that matters. Its obvious Im doing something right. All 4 judges thought the same thing or I don't think I would of took 1st. So you go and be happy with your stock car lookin like every other camry and let me do what I set out to do. Make my Camry stand apart and be different from the norm.

Dont let people like him annoy you or piss you off. Thats his opinion. His opinion or anyone shouldnt matter. What you like and what you do is what is most important. Everyone has their own opinion on what they like and what they dont so dont let others opinion get to you.

I like the color and look of the car. Also love the lambo doors and especially the kit. I'm not feeling spoiler either. I would of like it without it and looks more cleaner. Thats my opinion and its your car so you do what you like. Different people have different tastes. If they said they hated my car..I wouldnt care. Its not their car and their not driving it.

Just remember that any forum you go and you post pics, expect to here some hate, criticism and loves. But keep up the good work. Its shiny and clean.

thanks DCE. I respect your opinion and everything you said. Criticism doesn't bother me. Its when they cross the line and get down right disrespectful and try to put me down on a personal level because im not doing what they think should be done. I asked a question when I first came to this forum when I was trying to find a CF Hood for my car and TRD VVTI started talkin trash from the jump. Instead of giving me help. Now like you said. I like the spoiler. Some people do and some don't. If they had a CF trunk for the Gen 5 then I would of got that instead of the spoiler but for some weird reason they don't make it for the Gen 5. Just the 2007 and the 2001 and lower. I wanted an even CF look with CF in the front and back. Thanks for the advice.

You should just let it go in one ear/eye and out the other. Theres always going to be someone like that on every forum. So you should just take it as a grain of salt and brush it off regardless of what they say. You cant please everyone.

Its weird that they make CF hood but no trunk. Stupid if you ask me. Maybe you should email the people who make them or maybe have one custom made?

But keep up the good work.

Congratulations on the award. Nice to know that others think as highly of your work as you do, and it offers some satisfaction. Having said that, that spoiler doesn't work for me. Just too off-the-shelf-bolt on, but it passed the test so enjoy.

Just how difficult was it to rehinge those front doors?
