5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
SO i just purchased a TRD and a VVT-I emblem for my trunk. My question to you guys is where should i put them?
1. I was thinking of taking the LE badge off and putting the TRD one in its place. and put the VVT-I one where there is no emblem
2. i could leave the LE badge and put the TRD and VVT-I emblem each in its own corner, so i would have an emblem on all 4 sides of the trunk.
3.I also could remove both the Camry and LE badge and put the TRD and VVT-I badge in their places.
whats everyones opinion?

I would leave them off completely. With your wheels, your car says more "luxury" than "sport". I think adding a TRD emblem would be kinda tacky.
Not trying to be mean- I actually really like your wheels... but I don't think they'll go well with anything sporty.
I'm actually trying to convince my wife to let me get those wheels when I replace my tires soon... my local dealer sells them for $135 each. Very tempting.

Yea, but the V6 under my hood says my car is pretty damn sporty. also,if you do get these rims, get the Michelin MXV4 tires with them. I have them and they are amazing. Good handling, responsive, ride, and not to mention they are low rolling resistance tires. Thanks for the input.

I've heard very good things about those Michelins, but they REALLY expensive. My local shop wants $168 per tire for those. (Including Road Hazard)
The Comfortreds that I usually buy are "only" $106/tire. I'm a bit nervous, as I'm not sure how much they will alter mpg vs a LRR tire.
Probably not? This carbon fiber valve cover for the '08 xB should fit the guys with the 2.4L. I'm wondering if the scion emblem can be removed without any evidence that it was there?
My advice would be to sell the emblems you bought on Ebay, take your girl out for a few drinks with your winnings, and then shave your ass - cheapest mod you'll ever do and it gives a nice clean look....
