radio code when disconnecting battery

I bought used camry 2007 and I need to disconnect battery but I'm worried about the radio because I don't have the code. Does the radio has the security code or is it possible to check it before disconnecting?

get your vin number and possibly proof of owner ship and head down to your local toyota dealership

Why are you disconnecting the battery? Does you radio have that option, it should say on the faceplate?

it doesnt have a code. at least the non jbl doesnt

I haven't seen a Toyota radio with a code on newer models (I haven't worked on older ones either so I dunno about those.) You'll loose your preset stations, but that's about all that's going to happen.

I'm not aware of a radio code either.

Same here, I havent heard of a code. I have had the battery unpluged and nothing besides losing my presets had occured

yea i was also thinking that the camry's dont have the codes. Honda's do though. odd we'll at least if you own a honda you can follow my steps i listed above

I've unplugged my battery several times. My JBL radio never asked for a code.

German cars usually have these annoying code thingies.

American cars have it such as my Ford Taurus as well as my Honda Odyssey.
