My gf's parents have a 08 Toytoa Camry LE, bone stock. Except for the ugly dash trim they got. So anyway they said that their radio has a hard time receiving radio frequency especially AM. They had the dealership check it out and replaced the radio under warranty. The radio still does the same thing. I said it might be the harnesses...Any suggestions? THANX

it can also be the antenna, my neighbors car had bad reception. they replaced the antenna which resulted in a new back window since the antenna is in the window. Have them check the antenna.

I had suggested that too. I wanted to know if anybody else experienced this same problem. Does your neighbor have the same car?

yea we both have 08 se's. He had fm problems. Its great having the same car we compare problems and fixes etc

It might be as good as it gets. My previous car was a 99 Camry and the AM radio could receive stations at great distance. One favorite was in another city about 200 miles away. Came in with little white noise. With my 07 Camry I can rarely hear that station and if I do it is heavily covered by white noise.
