Hey guys, I'm an all-around newbie. Got my LE I4 a few weeks ago. It's Black and the only options i got were leather, tint, and spoiler. The only mod I have done is put on the exhaust tip. I was wondering if installing mud flaps would be much harder than that? I think I read that you have to drill it into the rear bumper, but would I have to remove it first? Also, I think I like the mudflaps (not the pvc ones, the color match ones) but what are some other opinions? I don't have the money for a body kit and I felt the mudflaps would improve the appearance, not to mention keep it a little cleaner. Thanks!
To me, it makes it look like the car is lower, and on another similar car I felt it looked a lot different (in a good way). Im going for form more than function, im only 18. But thanks for all your help.
Actually I was getting this as an alternative to the body kit. Those are nice and the look I'm going for. How much did you pay/where did you buy them from?
I saw some on ebay the other day, but can't find it anymore.

If you get any kind of body kit, it's unlikely to fit with the mud guards installed unless you modify the kit or mudguards.
Mudguards are a must for anyone who lives in a state where it snows often! They really do a good job at keeping the body clean. (They don't catch everything, but they catch most of it.)
