Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Is there even such a jack that is car specific only?
They might have the "For use with Camry only".
The thing I want to get is the screen for the huge windshield in the back. Technically it has many small holes so you can still see through, but I am not sure it's legal since it reduce visibility. Think I saw it in a Lexus dealer.
HAHAHA stupid me. I'm over here thinking of the heavy duty jacks that you roll out that you have in your garage. It didnt cross my mind he was referring to the one in the trunk.

R U 2 being serious? I don't work in a car shop or deal with many cars but I have never seen any specific. The one in the trunk of the car is a little specific to fit into the slot in the car, but other than nothing in a jack too specific to make it can't jack another car.
Is there any jack that you can hook a drill to it? So you don't have to hand crank it. Make it faster.

I was referring to the jack fitting in the car. Of course you can take the jack out of your Camry and use it on an Accord. As I said in my previous post...a jack is a jack. But the OP could be asking for the one that goes in the trunk..hence that is what njerald posted.

Your alternative is not great. Technically it is illegal to have anything on the windshield. Beside, I don't want to increase the pillar any more than the huge size it already is. I like the pull up idea. I wonder if it is legal to have that constantly up even while driving. I am talking about for the back, not the front.
I luv it too that's y I want to get it. Any idea where/how/who/how much? There is a Camry stuff website but I didn't see anything like this shade.

It is for the rear. Obviously its illegal to have it on the front windshield. You only use it in the front when your car is parked. As for having it up while you drive, if you can see out of it, there should be no problem. People have it when they have a child in the backseat
I've seen some fold out ones, the pull versions and even an electronic one that uses a remote.
I don't think any place would stock this 1 jack specific for just 1 model.
I think the best is Junk yard. 2nd of cause is dealer them self.

With that said though, if I had a jack out of a Hyundai Excel (which states on it to use it only on a Hyundai Excel), I most likely would follow what the label says. Not saying it wouldn't lift my Toyota; I just wouldn't trust it. Last thing I want is the threads on the jack shearing and then have my car minus a wheel come slamming to the ground.
I agree with U on the load rate. I think they make them standard like the material of the jack and the thread on that screw. But I wouldn't take my Camry jack to go help a trucker to jack up his truck. The idea so stupid that it's not likely even cross my mind. But if my wife 4 door Corolla need to jack up and I already have my Camry jack handy, I'm sure I will use my Camry jack. I think all jacks come with 4 door cars should be able to handle all 4 doors car (in the same class).
