Gen6 need help on tire size.

i got these 17x7.5 2006 lexus gs 300 rims. they are take offs from a dealer on ebay. i just got them and im deciding what tire to get. im choosing between 225 50 17's or 235 50 17. i want a flush look but also i dont want it to look like a truck tire. anyone help me? thanks.

The 235-50-17 will give you the closest overall diameter to stock size. It will fit just fine but it will be tucked in.
You can't have the flush look with those rims being 17x7.5 +45 (I'm assuming it's +45 offset since it's Lexus GS rims)
To be flush, you will need 17x8.5 +35 offset or you put on those 20mm wheel spacers to push the wheels outward.

thanks for the reply lammydi.. yeah i finally decided on these rims. they are simple but heck i like em! i'll go to sears later to get them going. on a 7.5 ratio do you think its better to put 235? are the 18" gs rims on 7.5 to?

My previous GS rims was 18x8 with 235-45-18. You are right, since your is 18x7.5, it might be better to go with 225-50-17.
