Back....with bad news

Well fellas I'm finally getting around to hopping back on here. As I have seen, TRD is still doing a good job irritating people. LOL. Way to go buddy. Now on to the sad news

My car went into the shop with a misfire code a couple weeks ago....the o2 sensor was torched, as well as all 4 spark plugs...600$

Afterwards it was still having some problem and the check engine light came back on. Cat converter. Luckily it was the cheaper of the two converters(exhaust manifold). The plastic intake manifold was falling apart so that was replaced as well as all the drive belts and a few other maintenace necessities. 1300$

So in the course of two weeks time I spent 1900$ and change to get my car back in shape....the pain

But now its back and good to go. Hopefully nothing else is bout to happen. At first they thought the head gasket was leaking cuz there was grey matter on my plugs, which is consistent with coolant leaking into the system. Luckily it was just buildup from the extremely rich fuel mixture....but the raw fuel running through the system is also what finally burned out the cat.

Anyway...there's my update. My poor car. Anything wild going with your guys cars? And I have a request. I don't trust myself to pick out the right bulbs, but can someone make a list of the corresponding LEDs to replace certain standard lights, such as the dome light, map lights, and license plate lights. Pretty please?

Upside, got 4300k HID's running now, its just ...so beautiful

i just had to throw new struts, mounts, swaybar bushings, and oem brakes all around on my car, and now the damn p/s pump is leaking!
its just an O ring on the high side hose that cost $1, but i dont feel like replacing it or balencing my tires and doing an alignment before this weekend

I believe the bulbs should be the same as the Gen 6 so they are 194. You can go to superbrightleds.com to order them. You can also see my cardomain for a list of bulbs I got. Since you got no sunroof, you'll need to get a festoon bulb for the dome. If you do a search for "led lights" you'll get a list of what others have used.

NO CHUCK! I'm not buying a car off you....yet! Ha! Maybe by the end of the year? But hey, when I pulled into service, all the valet guys started walkin around my car checkin' it out. Lol, its like they never seen a fixed up camry before. It was great.

Does the festoon bulb come in red at another site? Cuz I'm getting red LED's for the map lights since they are right in my eyes if someone turns them on at night, and I'd like to do the same for the dome light

If you compare this and the other post for your car that I posted, it uses the same bulb. If your dads Gen 6 doesnt have sunroof, it uses festoon. If he does have sunroof, it uses a 194 bulb. Same as the door, vanity and map.

Thanks Peach. By the way, looked up those bulbs and compared them to the bulbs on superbrightleds.com and I can't find half those light numbers.
