I was told you can put HID'S in the new Gen 6 camrys becuase that there projector lenses. is this true?
Thanks Justin
In short, yopu COULD put hids in there, but you would not reap the benefits of a true retrofit. Go to hidplanet.com and read up. There are a few members on this very board that have done proper retros, just use the search function and you will find a LOT of info. Good luck.

The Camry has stock 'halogen projectors' which are mean for halogen bulbs only, HIDs CAN work, but will glare with the squirrel spotters as well as not be as sharp as normal true HID projectors from other cars.
