Front Door Speaker's and mounting suggestions

07 camry manual... basic stock radio w/out jbl

Ive done a few searches and I cant find exactly what I'm looking for. I want to know if 6x9's would fit in the front door without having to make a mount out of mdf or if anyone knows of where I can find some mounting adapters.

Im not looking to get a amp or anything. Just some simple 6x9's or 2 ways with about 40-60 rms. I did the whole amps, tweeters and subs thing in High School, not looking for anything major. Just want to upgrade the front door speakers and later on do the rear ones.

Any suggestions or pics would be greatly appreciated

Im looking to spend in the range of 100-250 max

yes, the front speakers have a mount, just change out speakers. if not crutchfield sells 6x9 brackets, like 10 buck each.

recommendation: Boston Acoustics, best bang for the buck IMO.

From what i seen and read 6X9 might not fit due to the depth of the speakers

Location Size Depth

Front Speaker 6X9 4

Front Tweeter 3.5 2

Rear Speaker 6X9 6

Gen6 Here's what I did for $232

I wanted better sound and was going to put in complicated system amps , component speakers crossovers ,tweeters ,bazooka bass tube even upgrade to dvd oem style headunit.

Here's what I did

Purchaced adaptors 6x9 rears and 6.5 front from mjm auto innovations ebay item 310049103037 $40 for both with shipping

Pyle 6x9 speakers $44 delivered ebay item # 150292610569

I had a pair of infinity component 6.5 woofers you can find cheap on ebay

installed it all I was going to replace the tweeters and add crossover boxes but I just hooked up the woofers and the system looks stock and sounds great.

total cost $84 and I know you can find the 6.5 woofers for $20 - $30

I just ordered the DICE silver ipod integration unit for $144 delivered
that will scroll the tracks across the radio lcd and use the steering wheel controles.

So for $232 I have a system that sounds great with not much hassle running wires and spending a lot.

Yes 6x9 speakers will fit in front doors. I have MB Quarts in rear deck and front doors all 6x9's.
