i want to move my cold air intake somewhere were i will really get cold air but i cant. if i move it forward its too close to the heat manafold. and im told if its behind the radiator at all theres no cold air to be gained. so running it between the radiator and the bumper only problem is the pipe is too big to go between the only space open for that. so is my only option drilling a hole in my fender and putting it in there or doing some stupid hood scoop so i can get colder air in that area?

you could relocate the battery to the trunk (yes i know its a pain) and put the CAI right behind the headlight where the battery used to be

What do you expect from that...any measurable horse power? I would clean the engine bay and call it a day.

+1

clean the engine bay, and you'll be much happier. CAI have minimal if even dismal gains. In some isolated cases, you actually lose HP too.

You say that you want to move your cold air intake, but you don't even have a cold air intake.

The factory intake was a cold air intake...
