wire harness ...

there is a white plug / wire harness located behind the rear seat on the drivers side, right near the opening to the trunk where wires go through, anyone know what this open plug is for? there is nothing connected to it, 2009 camry se I-4

wire plug

no, its not for the light, my trunk light works, this whit plug is tucked down the side of the rear seat,driver's side, near top, way in .

The closest connector in that area is N34 Tire Pressure Warning Antenna "and Receiver". Page 60 of the Electrical Diagram Manual. The Receiver should be about 6 inches back from from where your picture shows.

I thought all cars are required to have it by law, can anyone confirm that this is not the case yet?
