wire harness ...

there is a white plug / wire harness located behind the rear seat on the drivers side, right near the opening to the trunk where wires go through, anyone know what this open plug is for? there is nothing connected to it, 2009 camry se I-4

no, its not for the light, my trunk light works, this whit plug is tucked down the side of the rear seat,driver's side, near top, way in .

I got v6 se and just checked. Didn't see anything that you described. A picture for sure would be a big help

The closest connector in that area is N34 Tire Pressure Warning Antenna "and Receiver". Page 60 of the Electrical Diagram Manual. The Receiver should be about 6 inches back from from where your picture shows.

Are the colors of the wires: Brown, Green & Light Green?

yes those are the colours... maybe it is for the tire pressure system, i guess i dont have that lol

I thought all cars are required to have it by law, can anyone confirm that this is not the case yet?
