did u use armor all or any product on ur sills to clean it?
if you did, you're going to have to use rubbing alcohol to clean it off. then the tape will stick.

definitely try it. I used armor all on my steering wheel console, and Gene couldn't mount the boost gauge lol. he had to use alcohol to wipe it down to make the tape stick.

haha anyway.. it should have stuck on right away though. but like peach suggested, clean it up as much as you can. though you might want to try something to increase the adhesiveness of your sills as they might have gotten less adhesive from all the fitting.
shadeexone...Once you clean the surface where you want the sills installed...you need an Adhesion Promoter, These are comonly used on dash and trim kits. 3m makes one....I had to scoure the internet to find them. Seems to be available only in lrg quatities. I seem to remember I found them at a local Sherman Williams paint store. You also might try someplace local that has automotive paint supplies. clean it with rubbing alcohol as staed and let it dry then try remounting.
Also make sure its warm out when you are doing this, glue is more tacky in certain temps
Just wipe down the surface first with rubbing alcohol to clean. Then use the adhesion promoter wipes on the surfaces that the tape will go on. I used this on one door sill that wouldn't stay down. I took it off, put some new 3m automotive mounting tape on and the moment the tape stuck to the surface that had adhesion promoter wiped on, it wouldn't come off. So make sure you line it up right! My door sill is slightly crooked now because i couldn't get it off. 2-4 packs should be good enough to do all four door sills.
