Damn Cd player

I'm new here so I don't know what the ell I'm suppose to do about my "Error 1" message on my CD player. Toyota claims they're not responsible for playing burned CDs but now I get the same crap when playing store bought CDs. The hell am I suppose to do?. This is extremely frustrating.

If it's still under warranty, let the dealer take care of it.

If not, I'm sure U can buy a touch screen and bla bla better.

Okay, first what year and model is your ca?

Second, the lens might be dirty, try using the CD cleaner kit.

My mom's 08 Cd player was replaced by the dealer no questions asked. They tried the CD player too, but no luck. The burned CD wouldn't play and it wouldn't eject either.

It's an 07 CE.

Everytime I take it to the dealer, they put in their "test CD" and the thing works so they come back to me and tell me there's nothing they can do....Like I was lying.

Can U provide more info on this player? 6 disc? JBL? MP3? etc.

The dealer probably use a regular audio CD. So what make that dealer CD different than your store bought CD? did you show the dealer your CD and try it in front of them to show them the problem?

Tell that to the dealer and show them. If they still say there is nothing they can do, then contact Toyota corporate customer service at 1-800-331-4331 and discuss the problem with them.
