I recently bought an 2009 LE with 16" steel wheels and thinking about upgrading to alloys. I've seen number of people selling 17" SE factory alloys and wander if they direct fit to LE. Will 17" wheels result incorrect odometer reading on LE?

On top of what geoff stated, the SE wheels would look very nice too......

be careful about the purchase and make sure all four of rim are from same width. What i mean is that I4 SE rim is 6.5 inches in width while V6 SE is 7 inches in width.

I just put on SE 17" Toyota rims on my 09 Camry LE. I bought them off ebay from a toyota dealership in Texas. He has several sets take off's. The ones I got were brand new with lugs and centre plate for $300 ( all 4) + shipping. You then have to buy tires as your current tires will not fit.

6.5 or 7 width it doesn`t matter coz they both fit the LE. but if i were you i'd get the 7 width. then slap on some 225/50/17's. it will give more aggresive look.

Its a I4 and got 7" rim as this is standard width for a SE rim. I put goodyear triple tread tires on, Can't remember off hand the size ( 225/55/15) but it was a factory size for those rims. I kept the same ratio as the 16's as to not change the odometer readings. I then sold the steel rims and tires for $500. ( My Camry on has 3000Km on it.) It really changed the look of the car. My wife even commented on it
