I broke the bolt on my engine air filter...2007 Toyota Camry LE 4cylinder....I called the dealer and the bolt does not come separate. Instead you have to order a whole new air filter cover piece. Does anyone know the size of the bolt or any sites i could buy one?
Didn't you notice that there are 2 bolts for the air cleaner?????
Gee, maybe you could measure the other one?????????
i had to use a 6 inch extension on the ratchets to reach that just to find out that TRD didn`t make air filters for i4.. what a shame.. but at least i knew they're were two of them

What is it about...Stance? Flushness? Stretch? or Pokin Out?
I pulled one off my air box looking for a replacement. The washer that the bolt goes through is actually connected on there, which holds the pieces together in that slot on the air box. IIRC the bottom of the bolt is unthreaded and the threading starts about half way up. I bought a whole set of metric washers/bolts trying to find one that fit but had no luck.
Have any of you that are saying to measure the bolt actually looked at it? It is not a normal bolt that you can find in a hardware store.

the dealership is lying to you, my air filter bolt broke in half (the other half was still lodged in the lower part of the air filter box) they got the other half out some how and put a new bolt in its place. no ordering of parts of any sort
That is indeed a none servicable item from Toyota; you need to get the whole upper air cleaner housing. However, you can modify a standard bolt to work in its place.
