Dashboard gets dim on 09 XLE...

I have an 09 XLE,

the dash cluster (speedo, RPM, tachometer, etc.) glows a nice bright white during the daytime, but a little while after the lights turn on (they're set on auto) it gets dimmer, and looks like a very boring grey. Is there a way i can turn off this dimming feature?

No, my other one is a black benz SLR.

I'm not even old enough to drive :P
I'm just hoping to get that camry [its my dads] next year (when I can drive)
and i want to know about it...
i feel so young to be on this forum... :p
then again, i know a little about cars, so i'm not ignorant about this kind of thing

of course i knew the dash thing is there i didn't want to twist it after it had stopped. but now I know it "clicks" so i guess i'll do that
