The '09 Camry is amazingly quiet

I will have to ride in some more midsized sedans to really see how tomblike these modern things are, but after all is said and done, the ride quality is amazing. I've read people sound-proofing their new Camry's and I can't imagine doing much more for sound proofing.

I can actually enjoy my music going 80 on the highway! It certainly is a great feeling.

This is coming from a '99 Camry (which wasn't terrible), and plenty of Zipcars like the terribly noisy (wind, engine, road) '07 Honda Civic, and the absolutely falling apart Matrix ('06), and the loud road noise of the '07 Volvo S40 etc, Mini-cooper, Mazda 3 etc..

Yeah, that's definitely for sure.

I own a '97 as well as an '07 Camry, loads of quality differences. If you ever take apart the door panels in a Gen4 Camry, there's next to none in sound deadneing material. Compared to all the newer cars that contain quiet a bit, which you can tell by how much heavier the door feels of course.

People more or less do additional sound proofing when they add speakers or subs or the such, the stock sound deadening material is good enough for stock usages.

Great to hear you enjoying the Gen6 =D.
