backup camera for Gen 5

i have a Pioneer voice/touch-screen + dvd/nav on my 04 & noticed the screen has an extra input that's sitting unused all this time. So i reckon a backup camera mounted over the license plate hooked to the secondary input would be a good idea ... especially when backing into dark spaces w/limo tint on the rear

any ideas/options ... suggestions/experiences ?

I'd look into the keyhole style camera...

Its super clean looking and if you are worried about your keyfob breaking and being locked out or something you always have the cable release from the drivers seat. And if you worry about both breaking you can always fold the back seats down and grab the handy glow in the dark trunk handle to get it open then replace the camera with the lock cylinder again.

Least thats what I want to do when I save up some money to replace the factory stereo...

wish I could help more, but I am a long way from doing this myself so I've yet to do much research on them...

I've heard good things about the ones on ebay from different forums.

I should note though, that there are at least 2 kinds floating around on ebay, 1 with infrared night vision and 1 without...

From what I've read the one on ebay with night vision is large and does not fit easily in most keyholes without enlarging the hole...

I don't know what else to say other than that as I have no experience with any of them, so hopefully someone else can shed some light....
