Gen5 cheated death....

im beginning to think the reaper is after me...

in the past year, ive had at least 3 near death experiences...the most recent, was just a few moments ago
i was getting bored and restless after i finished watching boogie nights, so i decided to go grab a snack and get some gas in my camry...on the way home, i decided to take the back way since theres some pretty fun roads, even though the road surface quality is horrible...i was doing about 40mph (speed limit is 35) and i came to a very large turn, and as i turned in i saw some gravel in the road, and before i could avoid it my outside left wheel caught the gravel, and sent the camry into a skid...mind you, on the outside of this curve is a small jersey wall and a cliff that drops off into a river, and on the inside is soft shoulder and a small barrier fence...before i know it, the car is going sideways 180 degrees into the apex of this curve, and im pounding the brakes...the ABS is pulsing in like crazy, and im holding on for dear life...i yanked the wheel in the direction of the skid, and suddenly the car lost the gravel patch, regained traction and jolted back into the direction of the curve and i kept on my way...im extremely lucky noone was coming around the other side of that curve or id be dead right now..or down a creek somewhere.....all i suffered is a really bad case of white nuckles and a headache...i have to say im one lucky son of a bitch...im not heavily religious, but i must say i have someone special looking out for me
be safe out there everyone!
-Corey

yeah i take it easy back there since the road quality is quite bad...alot of rough road and small bumps/dips....very easy to bump steer, so i tend to be going about the speed limit
if i hadnt hit the gravel id have been fine...i can say that i really cant stand abs brakes now....when i hit the brake pedal i want to stop! not have my brakes knock and grumble and skip...
