I have 2008 camry se v6 and today for the first time i used the wipers as it was raining. On the intermediate mode, i am able to hear every time wipers motor would cycle on and cycle off. Please tell me that this is not normal.

hm... i'm assuming you're talking about the motor making significant noise. compare it with another camry, since we're not sure how specific the noise is. i mean, i hear the actual wiping from the blades, but that's pretty much it- no actual hum, buzz, or noise from the actual motors.

Yeas i am actually hearing the motor cycle on when wipers start moving and cycle off when it stops moving. This is first time that i am hearing such noise in any car that i ever owned

IF your refering to the click of the relay kicking on and off its fine. IF you ride with your blower off and radio off you will hear it more.

It could be the relay, yes radio was off and blower was off. I could never hear that in any other car, strange

advice you to go ask a mechanic in your local dealership. have them duplicate the problem.

Besides actually hearing the blade wipe my windshield, I hear a click. That's normal. Heard it on my last Toyota. Is that what you're hearing?

Yes i am hearing a click every time the wipers start and stop working. Strange that this is normal and it's kind of annoying but oh well guess i will just have to live with that.

The Camry is VERY quiet inside. I'm guessing that its quiter then any of your previous cars. This makes any noises inside of the passenger compartment seem louder.

Go ask for a test drive in one of the new Camry and try their wiper see if U hear the same. If it's actually a problem than a trip to the dealer to fix it is in order.
