5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Being that you have a I4, no way you will dyno/feel 14.26 hp. I'd rather spend my money on making the car stop (slotted rotor) or handle better (FST and rear sway).
+1
make it handle better. camrys aren't really known for being fast neways.
So, it looks like I own a $332 K&N Typhoon Intake that I might need to sell to someone else and buy some better suspension parts, then right? Who wants to buy this Brand New in the Box Typhoon Intake System from me? Make me an offer, as it just came in this past Monday?
Magnaflow says 10hp when you add their exhaust..so do that too! and get a chip, ebay sells them for like 10 bucks 100hp gains!
These computers in these Computer Control Vehicles of today Do Not have Chips installed into them, they are setup for aftermarket handheld programmers to be used to reprogram them. As for Magnaflow having any horsepower increases for these cars, I have not personally seen any on a Dyno showing any increases of any horsepower increase with these L4 engines locally.

Yes, I did pickup on that, however , I was just letting others know that these vehicles do not have that Chip option is all. but I do know how most manufacturers do strech the truth on their products producing more that they are capable of producing. Hope this helps.
