I don't want aftermarket fogs, i like the stock ones, but I want to paint the lense yellow (even if it won't give a yellow glow, just for looks) Can anyone one tell me if this a fairly easy DIY? And what would be required for this mod? I used the search but nothing comes up with this specific request. Thanks.

I saw that site on a google search, but they sell the whole kit for I think it was $70 (Headlight & Fogs) and I just need want to get the fogs yellow so that's a bit expensive.
I know the paint is Krylon Glass Paint but I'm just not sure of the procedure involve, like sanding if even needed and such.

Go to a local auto shop and pick up yellow window tint for like 10 bucks. Then you can charge ppl 10 bucks and tint theirs as well with the left over tint..
there's a guy here on TN with a red se who painted his fogs yellow. forgot his screen name but you can probably find the thread here on TN using the search function.

Trust me I tried, but all I get is how to install aftermarket fogs, or HID fogs.

^ swift160 or 160swift... something like that did it, and he used yellow window tint. He was going to do mine for me, but i never made it out to his place and he hasn't been on the boards since.
The thing about lamin-x is that its a tint that covers the lens, so i remember reading on a old forum that it traps the heat in and the guy ended up burning his lens.

Then it's definately not worth it, lol, I'll check out the tint idea, all though I'm concerned about wrinkles, but it's easier then painting.
