ANYONE HELP aftermarket GPS harness wiring!

SO I bought myself a generic GPS 7" screen off eBay. It's pretty much the same thing as the aftermarket lookalike of the OEM GPS without the wiring harness.

The problem is..
I hear whining noises from my speakers when I drive. So as the RPM rises, the whining loudens.. kind of like a supercharger sound. Yes, I researched some on the internet and found that there may be a bad ground or something.. so I tried to ground the wires at different places but to no avail.

Then for some reason, I took off the FM antenna and the whining noise completely disappeared! I mean, I dont really listen to the radio.. at all.. but I would still like to know that all the components of my electronic works well.

How do I eliminate that sound?? Does the antenna have a separate ground wire that I should "re-ground"?

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE!
I bought a noise filter for the antenna and power so that should fix the whining noises..

BUT I still have the problem of my audio sounding not as strong.

I bought a harness that connects the aftermarket GPS to the existing audio harness and even though they didnt color-code it, luckily there was fine print on the wire to allow to me to do it.

This is the aftermarket GPS wiring. I did not connect the ones that I boxed in red:

is there a stock amp somewhere?
NOTE: I have a 6-speaker NON-JBL car..

And this is the harness I bought to connect those wires. I used them all except the orange wire which said "ILLUMINATION".. I doubt that has anything to do with the audio quality.

I am a complete noob with audio wiring and this was my first attempt. If anyone has any information or suggestions on what I did wrong, maybe missed a connection somewhere? Thanks in advance.

do you have a system in your car? consisting of amps? I know when peolpe install amps its a common problem. I cant really think of a reason why for you...

or this usually happens when your using a signal from something that is connected to the cars battery.
eg i have this ipod charger/fm transmitter but the fm sucks so i just use it as a charger. I use the aux input on my deck to run a 3.5mm jack to the ipod but when there both plugged in at the same time it makes the whine. This can be easily fixed in my case with a gruond loop isolator but im not too sure about your situation.

Same thing with mine if I use the 12V outlet to run mobile DVD with the sound through the Nav AV input...whining sound as you describe increasing with speed/rpm. Very annoying - makes it unusable.

I think I have stock non-JBL speakers. Does my car come with a stock amp by any chance? I've connected the 4 speakers correctly but the sound doesnt sound as full as before. I've messed around with the equalizer but it seems like there's something missing, like some stronger bass.

I did not attach the aftermarket amp wire to anything because I didnt know which wire it was on the car's harness. So if there is a stock amp, which wire color would it be?

Btw, when I took off the stock radio, there were 3 plugs in the back and I ended up only using 2 of the left plugs by connecting them with the aftermarket harness. Possibly that 3rd plug contains the stock amp wire?

Thanks!

I think there might be a filter that you can attach to decrease or get rid of that noise.

All my speakers are stock. No aftermarket amp, no sub.

And yes, the aftermarket in-dash comes with RCA plugs in the rear.

Hope this helps. thanks

Gen6 My reply

There is a filter you can run the power through you can get one at rat shack or a car stereo shop.

Replace the stock speakers they are weak buy the adaptor plates and replacement speakers for short money and it sounds great cost me a little over $100

$40 for the adaptors $40 tor Pyle blue series 6x9 rear $30 for infinity 6.5 woofers for the door I kept the stock tweeters,

Sounds great plenty of bass I leave the bass setting all the way up.

I was going to do amps and subs but I am happy with the results.

The Dice ipod interface $140 completes the setup it looks stock and rocks.

Yeah, I went ahead and bought the filter kit so I'll see how that works out..

I've been looking at speakers all weekend and was wondering about fitment. On Crutchfield, it states that only 6.5" round speakers fit in the front door but I've heard of a 6x9 Critical Mass that fits on the front door..

Can anyone tell me what size speakers fit on my 08 Camry LE? I believe I have a total of 6 since my car is non-JBL. Thanks.
