Excuse my stupid question, but what does that spacer do exactly? What do you gain?

Oh, nice find that they actually make these for the Gen6 Camrys.

But then again, many people have different opinions about whether these work or not:

http://www.tundraheadquarters.com/bl...-body-spacers/

The K&N Short Ram Intake doesn't exactly have a throttle body spacer, it has a little rubber sleeve that connects the SRI to the throttle body itself. I'm not sure how the Helix will work in conjunction with the K&N SRI.

"On a carbed engine or a TBI engine they work because your giving more time for the air/fuel to atomize. However with fuel injected engines, fuel is added after the TB, so all your doing is putting another inch or two for the air to travel. Which in turn is actually robbing your system."

I'm not so sure it's worth $95, but who knows, you at least probably get a cool sound to go with it.

The helix connects the throttle body to the intake manifold... so no interference with the SRI...

again worth it? probably not... would I get it? most likely yes... hahhaa
