So I finally got to doing my LED swap with interior lights. I got the map, dome, and license plate LEDs done.
Only problem I came upon was on the door/courtesy lights. I opened it up but the bulb seems to be in a housing and I can't reach and pull it out to change it. Can you remove the housing that's protecting it? I tried fiddling with it but didn't want to pull too hard in fear that it might break.
Do you have to squeeze anything to release it? Or just pull it off?
You have to push in one of the sides of the top part because there is a clip holding the top part down to the bulb holder part. You can't just pull it out without releasing the clip that is holding it down underneath.
looks like i'm passing on the courtesy lights haha, too complicated.
Its not that hard.

If the weather is good outside, I'll go take a look at it again and see if I can give a better instruction on it. I'll see if I can do a video while I'm holding the camera and takeing it apart.
