I want to run a line out of my fuse box with 15 amp draw that has power on when the car is turned on. I thought that IGN would be it but apparently that is only on when first cranking the engine. Any thoughts. I drive a 2002 LE. Some one suggested aux power for the cig ligbter and whatnot, but I use that line for my phone and Ipod . . . will it matter?

I have my footwell lighting connected to the 12V cigarette lighter adapter. Just spliced into it and both the adapter and the footwell lighting work. Power is on when key is turned in the ignition.

Use a T-Tap connector to wire it.
