Lightbulb 07 Camry suspension fitting

Hi I'm new here and only had one post on Rav4 section. I got one quick question. My cousin has a 07 Camry sitting on 06 Solara springs. The car is too bouncy and he was gonna switch to coilovers. I told him why not just get new struts and sleeve on coilovers from Ground Control. I explain how he would have to do it and to find a good spring rate so it's not to soft.

Okay my question is, since they have none for the 06 Solara/07 Camy, Can we some how fit the 99 Solara/97 Camry sleeve on coilovers on the 07 Camry?

Thanks.

Dont have the money for that type of stuff.Rather get sleeves.Remember Ebay sleeves are garbage Ground control sleeves aren't. Somebody said sleeves are better and non bouncy if done with the right spring rate. My question again is would they fit?Ksport Coilovers aren't as great as what I hear. Thanks though.

^^^ that's what I'm saying. Dont judge unless its Ebay hahaha. But it somehow i find out it'll fit i'll let you guys know. I'm pretty sure it does though with just a few adjustments. Especailly since it's not for road racing or anything aggressive.

bad experiences with sleeves.
at this point, i'd rather get springs and shocks/struts, or coils/coils with bags.
i'd never go sleeves again

and the 99solara/97camry springs/sleeves will most likely not fit. you an ask a local toyota tech about cross referencing part numbers to be sure though. 2 generation difference there.

If the ride is bouncy it's most likely because the struts/shocks are stuffed. There is an easy check for this: firmly push each corner of the car down and release. It should come to rest in a single movement. If it bounces two or more times the strut is stuffed.

If you're on a budget just replace the struts with some new ones, there is nothing wrong with a normal strut/ spring combo and it will be cheaper. Perhaps look at getting some stiffer sports struts, or even adjustable struts like Koni or NGK.
