Gen6 2009 Camry SE 4cyl Doesn't have Tire Pressure Monitor?

I Bought 2009 camry se 4 cyl. yesterday i got flat tire and there was no tpm warning light came on. I went to toyota dealer to fix my flat tire and ask about TPM light. And they say 2009 camry does not have tire pressure monitor? I am so upset now. Does any one have this problem?

That does not sound correct, it is federal law for tpms.

First, take a picture (zoom it at the valve) and post it here so we can tell you if you have sensors or not.
Without looking at your pictures, I can tell you that your wheels must have TPMS in it already. Because if you didn't, your TPMS light would came on your dash to begin with. The fact that your TPMS light was not on telling me that you have TPMS on those wheels.
Now, it is the dealership responsibility to figure out why your TPMS light is not even on when you have a flat tire. I would demand that issue to be fix along with any damage to the tire/wheel due to the fact that the TPMS wasn't on to give you a warning. Keep us posted.
Stay calm, be polite but firm with the Service Advisor. It will help get result.

According to the 09 Camry sales brochure, DIRECT TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) is standard equipment on all 4 models of the Camry. If you have a copy of the brochure check the features section. You can also check your window sticker and if need be, bring it back with you to the service department. If they refuse to check out the sytem for you or simply say there is nothing wrong, call Toyota corporate at 1-800-331-4331 and talk to customer service about the problem.

Do you have the little reset button in the glovebox for the TPMS system?

all 2007+ camrys, regardless of trim level or engine have the TPMS system
its a federal mandate that all cars from the 08 and up model years have a TPMS system

I don't think the Camry/Toyota system is very reliable.

I have been driving for months now with non-TPMS wheels and I have the light come on maybe once a week out on the highway. Maybe when I pass another Camry or Lexus..

When I start the car again the light is gone.

In my car, the light usually on once I drive about 300 miles.
The light is gone when you started the car is because it communicated with your tpms inside your garage (you have the main set inside your garage, right?) At least, that was my case when I did that for about 3 months before I finally transfer the tpms into the HR5 rims.

On my 07 LE, I had my sensors transferred from my steel wheels to my new alloys. System works great. Due to the colder temperature, the light comes on once in a while in the morning. But once I hit the highway the light disappears. There was a time when the light stayed on constantly due to low air in one of my tires. Once I refilled back to 32 psi, the light went away. Also the 16" steel wheel sensors worked fine with 17" Alloy wheels. I was happy to have upgraded the wheels but was able to keep the TPMS intact.
