the size LED is the little guy. the same one used in the steering wheel control mod and if that one is too big, then go with the size that he used for the a/c control mod.... do a search for "best mod ever" by netforcer.

it is an led, but not like the hvac or steering wheel. It looks more like a regular led bulb. But i tried swapping the old green bulb for a regular blue bulb, but i cannot get it to light up. tried reversing the bulb and still no worky. i'll keep y'all updated as progress goes on

finally got door switch done. DIY
remove door panal
remove switch (3 screws)
take switch apart (3 screws) and pop the window lock switch off
remove white plastic part from board, pulls off, careful to not bend connections
unsoilder green led

pic of new led

keep in mind led are polarized, the long side of the led goes toward the edge of the board
resoilder

put back together
remember when you test, make sure you put the key in the car and turn it on. Spent 3 hours trying to figure out why it didnt work by just turning the lights on, until i put the key in and turned it on, DUMBA**.

Sorry about the crappy camera phone pics

enjoy
