I am thinking about ordering a HID 6k kit from my friend. He is doing it for a bill or less. I have a question. The 2007 camry ce has stock projectors correct? Well I want to have the clean diamond cut when i turn on my HIDs, i dont want it to glare all over the place. Am i good to go with the kit, or do I have to customize the housing?

ehh. doesn't really bug me much when people don't use the search button. You'll always get people who accidentally post without searching, so why get worked up about it?

to get a clean diamond cut, you have to JB weld in your squirrel spotters.
You don't have to customize ur housing. Just push down the flap w/ jb weld!

Pick up a different color temperatureeeeeee, I'd say do 4300K or 5000K if possible at least.
Or, you can get an actual D2S bulb with a ballast and everything, and just modify the housing a bit to fit a D2S bulb, I believe it's been done, better light output and color then a 6000K HID Kit for sure!

Correction please.
Just push down the flap will not reduce the glare.
You have to cover the squirrel spotters completely by using a piece of metal or soda and glue it using jb weld.

Just shine your low beams to your garage door or a wall, and you'll see 2 squares.
Those 2 little squares (squirrel spotters) were designed for a small amount of light to bounce up so you can see the street signs. This is perfect if you are using halogen H11 bulbs which came as stock.
But if you put HID bulb in there, there light output is a lot stronger than H11 so the light output will blind oncoming traffic. This is why you have glare! Also, because our Camry projector is Halogen projector, NOT HID projector, so our light output is scatter all over the ground instead of a nice focus beam like those HID projector. Look at any of the members here that have retrofit (they replaced halogen projector with HID projector) you will see a true light output of HID.
