5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i know its not a racing car but its engin is very strong compairing with the i4
and i dont know how is the v6 and the i4 coz in my area we have only i4.
Of course you cant compare the power of the V6 and I4. Two different engines and horsepower. Just like you cant compare a V6 with a V8 or V12
Or a commercial airliner that carries travelers vs a fighter jet. Or a two wheel bicycle with a tricycle. But of course the V6 will be more powerful than the I4...unless you turbo it.
After reading the replies to this thread, I am going to keep my Camry. I realized that I would rather live with the glitches in my car than take a $3,000 hit on my car in 6 months.
I used some Toyota vinyl and leather protectant, which evened the color of the dash out. I have a small rattle when I hit a large bump in the dash, but I can live with it. Lastly, my radio reception sucks, but that is probably the city I live in. Here is a reference thread: 09 Camry Fiasco [Help]
Toyota [who I work for] gave me a 7-year 100,000 mile warranty and 1 car payment [$406]. They felt bad for all the issues I had and this was their solution. I give them credit because if this was a GM car they would have told me to pound sand.
Further thoughts on dumping my car or keeping it are welcome.

You have a very nice car...keep it. Your payment is very low as well. Good decision IMO.
