Gen5 03 Spring's, H&R feed back

wadup guys

ah yes another spring thread.

ok i have been doing my best to search for my answer,
but i couldnt seem to get a straight answer.
so dont scold me too hard haha

i am goin order some springs this week and i am unsure whether to
the pro kit or some H&R's

i would like to ask anyone who has a 5 gen on H&R's to
give some feedback on the ride and drop over time

i have read a lot of ur guy's comments on the pro-kit
and see how u have been pleased with it.

the drop on the H&R's are technically 1.4/1.3
i have two 12' kickers in my trunk and was wonderin
if that will make the springs sag a lot more?

i dont want an uneven drop haha

thanks guys.

good luck with that..

get teins... or better yet coils for that even drop..

your filipino so i guess you have L7 solo baric 12" subs?

if you want the even drop go with h&R or go with prokit + urethane cushion.

i wish..
haha i my friend was seeling 2 kicker comp's with 1200W amp for $200.
i could not pass it up.

... and as for the tiens

my car has a 2 finger wheel well gap in the back
and a 4 finger gap in thr front

and if i get the tiens, im afraid that by back will tuck too much
and camber too much.

if only they sold springs in pairs haha
i would get tien front and eibach rear lol
... i was thinking the pro kit b/c there is a less drop in the back,
and the subs might compensate?

im still eager to see if any other people w/ H&R's give a review

in the P.I when you have kicker rigss you have to have the L7's.. i personally had 2 12" solo baric L7's hooked up with RF amps! thats why hehehe..

sorry about the OP.. i have h&r on my gen 6.. i like the ride both by my self and with heavy loads. imagine sometimes 4 people + an acoustic amp with a guitar and mic stands at the trunk. the settling point for H&R for my gen 6 is about one and a half fingers.. thats with 3 200+ pound guys sitting at the back.. (me and my dad) + 200 pounds of weights in the trunk..

i think its your best bet for lowering springs.. trd and eibach both sag there asses off... teins are pretty good but stiff.. real stiff! as in you'll jump on every bump

I don't know about sagging eibachs -- I've had mine for just about 10 months and they haven't sagged at all... then again I don't ride with 2 - 12" subs, I have 1 10" kicker that does the job.

I'm about to get coils though since I want something stiffer on my turns.

I have Tein's and i must say that they look great on the car...

as for ride quality, i wouldn't recommend it in NYC. i definitely need to slow to a moderate speed when a big bump comes along.
