Hi all,
Does anyone know how to remove the headlight house on a 2005 Camry. I went to change the bulb & the bulb is stuck inside the housing & i have to take it out to get to the bulb...
How does one get the bulb to fall inside especially for headlight? I thought the bulbs are bigger than the socket to prevent such a thing from happening. Unless the turn signal bulb/blinker is what you were referring to.
i second what dcemureviews said.. how did you manage to drop the bulb inside the housing??? unless you broke the bulb?
The only way is to bake the headlight and take it apart. To do so, do a search on hid retrofit and you will definitely find the info on baking headlights.
Did you break off the socket that turns? Maybe try and use pliers to grab the bulb and twist?
Hey, thanks everyone, I got it out using a coat hanger & a lot of tape. & yea...I thought it was kind of a emergency @ the time...if my car was on fire...it would be a tragedy
I just changed the blue LED's in the parking lights, I'll post pix up in a few days when i take them & put them online. Thanks for that website, that'll come in handy someday.
I had blue parking lights in for a while, they gave me a ticket for it, (and I wasn't even speeding, I was just @ the traffic light minding my own business). So, i ordered "Cool White" lights for the parking lights so they look nice & they won't give me problems.
