i think it would look good if painted. it sorta mimics the vizage grill, but without the odd center spline.

on the other hand, the gen5.5 se grill is a very nice option, and you're assured of a perfect fit and good ol' oem quality. there's also no need to paint it.

i'm a bit split on this as well.

its a sportivo knockoff grille. looks ok, you may be able to pull off just putting clear coat on it since your car is black.

^sportivo doesn't have the horizontal bar.

btw, i think this would fit the gen 5.0 better than the gen 5.5, since the lower bumper air dam or grill is similarly shaped.

oh. sorry. i assumed we were talking about the "sportivo" grill that everyone else has (i.e. whitechocolate) . i honestly didn't think of the gen 5.5 oem sportivo grill.

i believe both are sportivo grilles.. im not sure which is from what year, but from the pic above it seems its for the gen 5.5. I personally like whitechocolate's style better than the above but its not too bad.. it looks like the mazda 3/6 grilles
