Sucks for you! But seriously..do I want to spend almost $70 on remote and like $40 to get it cut and programmed at dealership? I heard they do it free also? I assume on how nice they are?

The FCC ID is differencet because it is a different tx/rx device. It has nothing to do with frequency or interoperability.

thanks for the info wireless i really want this type of key for style and more importantly compactness, but i havent seen anything with my FCC ID. I want to try and tackle a retrofit into an existing style switchblade key(possibly a VW or Audi key fob) by transplanting my existing circuit board, but I consulted one of my co workers who is an electrical engineer and he said its pretty much impossible to relocate the buttons that are soldered onto the circuit board.
