2009 toyota camry wire location and color

I've searched the forum for this info but have been unable to find it all in one place or for a 2009.

2009 Toyota Camry SE 4 cylinder
Can someone please give me the following info:
Colo + or - and location, often I find more then one color
example tac wire location on airbag factory plug there
are two black with silver wires.

1. Lock wire
2. Unlock wire
3. Factory Arm
4. Factory Disarm
5. Tac wire (which one)
6. Door trigger
7. Dome Light
8. Trunk Release (electric one)
9. Parking lights (which will flash when the alarm is armed)
10. Brake
11. Horn (I assume this is a relay)
12. hood trigger, is there one inside?

Note: 2005 -2009 Camry's appear to have similar body styles but from reading the forum some wire color and locations have changed.

The VSS or Vehicle Speed Sensor used for Navigation systems is said to be the violet and silver wire on the club plug, there are (2)of these wires. I was also told the purple wire on the radio harness is the VSS, Crutchfield gave me this info so I used that wire.

Thank you

2007-2009 regular Camrys should all be the same and you'll have to look them up in EWD section of the Service Manual.

For those of you who don't have access to a manual I was able to get some info on another site. I'm still in the process and will let you know exactly what wires when done.

Another question:

Since the new 2009 Camry's seem to have the AM-FM antenna built into the rear window does this have something to do with the second smaller round antenna connector. On the back of the stock radio there are (2) antenna plugs, one is the normal size and directly above it is another smaller plug. Does anyone know what this plug is for? I thought perhaps it was power to an antenna amplifier for the back window. There appears to be Fujitsu electronics (small metal boxes wired to the window ) in the rear pillars to the right and left of the rear window. Changing the stock radio to an aftermarket one it appears without this connection the AM-FM reception is rather poor.

Does the back winder antenna require some sort of connection to the radio?

Who ever reads this and attempts to try and install an aftermarket alarm of some sort or anything of that matter, be smart and use a DMM. If you cut or tap the wrong wire and you send either an opposing pulse or resistance, you can do some damage. A DMM is a $20 investment, and trust me, its a great one. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents. Any questions... PM me.

Good advice, while you'll find many sites that offer color codes and wire locations I did not always find the correct wires. Always check the connections with a meter before connection. The above list is only meant as a starting point as where to look. Good luck

How did you end up connecting the hood pin? Did you ever find a hood pin wire inside the cabin?

No, never found the wire for the hood pin, what I would do is run a separate wire via the firewall from the engine compartment. I found a great rubber plug to run wires from the engine compartment just behind the glove box and below it. You can see it from inside the engine compartment on the left side when facing the engine from the front of the car. It's a larger rubber grommet which has a nipple which I pierced and ran my 8 gauge amp power wire thru.
Good Luck
