Would this work for LED high beams?
I just saw that on superbrightleds.com and they are marketing it as DRL LEDs but I was wondering if that could be used for high beams?
HB3 is the same as 9005 which is what Gen 6 has for high beams.

Guys,
Even low powered low beams run 1300 lumens or more. Hi beams go to 2100 lumens and up. Do you really think a 40 lumen bulb will work?
This is one of those "glow little glow worm" DRL only.

LED's can't light up the road like halogen / HID. Well, maybe not yet.

I would use those like the low power bike lights: To be seen by, no to see with.
40 lumens is ridiculously low output. My LED flashlight outputs over 100!.

I want some LEDs for my corner lights or get some yellow bulbs to match my fogs. I hate that orange color.

I've tried them....looks like shit. Doesn't put off any light. Just like those" driving" light that light up the headlight housing.

The Audi R8 has an option for full LED head lights and it cost about 7k. So yeah these are not going to work imo.
