i am getting ready to order a new muffler for a custom cat back and was just wondering which fo the following yall liked best as far as sound (if youve heard it) and appearance
HKS Hi-Power Ti: 170mm shell and 120mm tip (the larger one in the pic)
Apexi N1: 115mm tip
Tanabe Medallion: 140mm shell and 100mm tip

try listening to sound clips of the tC with all exhausts on youtube and that should give you an idea of what it sounds. i'd lean towards the hks though. it might look fart cannish on a 4cyl though with no kit on
i went on youtube and found a clip of it and it does sound great. the only problem is that the car is going to double as a mild show car as well and those mufflers do in fact look stock which may not please the judges
EDIT: i was lookin over their webiste and saw they also offer the can style mufflers as well as polished and tipped versions of the streetpower mufflers. you think those would sound about the same?

all look way too tacky and ricey for my tastes...blegh
dont ruin your already clean car with a tacky ass muffler...save your coin for your upcoming suspension mods
hey gene.. the inlet/outlet size is it the diameter or the length of the tip? im interested. i think im gonna get the muffler then put my stock chrome tip..
peach never gave me a quote on tanabe

thats alot... the Vibrant is only at 120-140 i believe..
yea thats why im leaning more and more towards a vibrant product. i think the most expensive universla muffler i saw on there was like 160. plus they def sound good on just about every car on youtube that had one
