Differential fluid? Gen 5

On the Gen5 2AZ-FE motors,

Is there a seperate differential fluid that needs to be changed? (apart from the transmission fluid).

If yes, is there a drain plug for this differential?

no. unlike the previous 5SFE motors, the 2AZFE has a single unit transaxle that only requires the ATF fluid to be changed. there is no seperate differential, and thus no differential fluid
your transmission fluid is toyota ATF type T-IV

not all camrys are fwd, don't forget the All-trac option. Every automobile has to have a differential or else you wouldn't ever be able to steer the car, our Gen5 & Gen6 camrys have what is referred to in automotive speak as a transaxle. it's a combination transmission and differential.

I hope this helps.

I had a AE92 Corolla that was fwd but the differential case and drain plug was separate from the transmission. It is all cased as one but separate inside. One common problem with that generation corolla was that people would not fill the differential oil and it would fail. I am not sure about Camry, but this just shows that it doesn't have to do with fwd ot rwd or awd.
