Timing belt replacement @ pre-determined mileage?

The 02 Camry has a 4 cyl engine. I have heard the timing belt should be replaced at 60k. Is this true? Thanks!

That's good to hear. I was under the impression all the 4cyl Japanese engines had a belt.

I found the 2AZ-FE designation on the underhood stickers. What does the VVT-i on the engine cover mean?

the 2az-fe has a timing chain....it only has to be changed if and when it streches, and youll notice the noise of it slapping around
