5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I e-mailed toyota, DO THE SAME AND WE MIGHT GET SOMEWHERE!
I'm aware that a minor face lift of the current gen6 Camry is due for the next model year. I thought i would give you guys an idea of what us Toyota enthusiast's would like to see. Many of us like the TRD Aurion, or even just the regular Aurion from the Australian market. Here are some pics. http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autobl..._sports_02.jpg It would be great if you took some of the styling features from that and incorporate them into the gen 6.5. I especially like how the exhaust is on the rear bumper, It makes the rear of the car look a lot cleaner. Being that it sits on the same uni-body chassis as the Camry, it wouldn't be too hard to do that. In fact, its probably plug and play. Also, you desperately need sports sedan in your lineup, and the Camry SE just isn't cutting it. Maybe if you took the TRD supercharger for the 2GR-FE used in the TRD Aurion and gave us a better suspension, your sales would increase.

I doubt a few emails would do anything, but good luck.
The new gen 6.5 is probably already done and ready to start assembly these things are planned well ahead

after reading that i lol'ed
telling a company they desperately need something and xxx is not cutting it without any proof is a bit funny. toyota doesn't seem to be doing so bad with the se models
i'm going to write a letter to toyota demanding a rwd camry
Letters to Toyota with suggestions on design and styling will not sway them in any way. Constantly bashing njerald on his lack of tact due to his style, will only turn useful threads into name calling rants. This goes two ways…njerald. During my time here @ TN, njerald has assisted many people despite his style, including myself.
Letters to Toyota should identify their issues with quality. During their attempt to surpass GM, their QC has gone down the tubes. Hey Toyota!!!! You see what being on Top has done to the big three!!! Get back to what you have been known for QUALITY.
