06 Camry Battery Question

I noticed today when checking the fluid levels in my 06 Camry that my battery has some type of oily residue around the battery terminals and the eye on the battery is dark normally there is some green that i can see, I had an oil change done about 2 weeks ago and i had my cabin air filter changed out but there wasn't any mention of my battery leaking or discharging, I've had normal start ups without any problems in 20 degree weather so far. i'm just a bit concerned that my battery is about to fail or am i overeacting?

The 'eye' is actually for one cell in the battery. Oil residue? Some repair shop will put grease on the battery terminals to keep them from corroding. If you are concern, take it in to have the battery and electrical system check. Usually it takes sometime for the charging system to fully recharge the battery and if the vehicle is used mainly for short trips, there is a very good chance that the battery is not fully recharged.
