Holy bad grammar and run-on sentences man!
The best thing you can do is to keep your valuables out of sight and close and lock your doors. That's much more effective than any alarm system that you can buy.
Seriously- no one really listens to alarm systems anyway. Save your cash, lock your doors, and keep anything valuable in the glove box, center console, or trunk.
Wow. I had to read the 2nd to last sentence 3 times b/c i didn't understand that run on sentence. I believe there are several "Alarm System" threads available....

Next time, always lock the doors when you leave the car, even for just 30 sec!!! It's only 1 button to push really, you won't kill anything.
As for alarm, I have the Automate alarm system, and I use the factory remote, I don't like carrying 2 remotes, works great, from the same company that makes Viper & Clifford.
Take this as a lesson. You're lucky they didn't take the whole car.

lool oooops i typed it fast as if i was talking. i just dont want it to happen again maybe by the same a****le* u never know. and i dont have a radar just to show off and stuff, i got it because on my way to work there are a bunch of cops that pull you over for going 62 in a 60. but thanks for the advice and
I always lock my doors. I have my Valentine One and even though my neighborhood is quiet and safe, I still lock it. You never know. When I lock my car with my Viper 5701, if one of the doors is left slightly open, my alarm will beep and than give me an error tone. I can still use all the features on the key plus the key that comes with the alarm. I use all the button on the remote that came with the alarm/remote start.
If you do a search on the forum, there are some threads about alarm/remote starts.
Whats amazing is that you explained detail for detail (besides the grammar) on what happened but yet, you didnt do anything to prevent the situation.
If I'm not mistaken, the factory keyless will buzz and won't lock the doors if one of the doors is not locked properly, right?
i think so...
I have the Viper upgrade to my stock alarm which has glass-break sensors, door panel sensors (works with key-remote). My alarm has a long beeeeep if a door is left ajar and an attempt to arm it occurs.
I installed 2 louder horns too, b/c the stock isn't loud enough for my taste.
